A. pops by to visit and shows her some more of her photographs. They are of the new bridge – the Lion’s Gate. It is supposed to be ready in the early Fall.
As she doesn’t drive, she imagines slowly meandering across the bridge, taking in the view, waving at the big ships below. Though perhaps she could learn to drive? They don’t have a car, so this is a distant reality, but if she could and did own a car, she could apply for some of those jobs that require a license.
A. interrupts her reverie to ask her opinion of the pictures. She doesn’t know what to say, other than they are lovely. She blushes.
