She and A. have walked downtown to the waterfront for the afternoon. A. is taking photographs, and  also lets her use the camera a couple of times. She is deliriously happy.

He was born November 7, 1887 in Preston, Lancashire, and came to Vancouver as a child. He is described as an “avid amateur photographer and an enthusiastic outdoorsman. ” He died on July 27, 1960. ]
