16,000 BC Properites to Go to Tax Sale

16,000 properties all over British Columbia will go under the hammer within the next as the provincial government holds its first tax sale in six years….
“It is the largest list of tax sale lands in at least 20 years.
A moratorium on tax sales was declared after 1932 owing to depressed conditions, and there has been none since… The unpaid taxes on some of the tax sale lands go back as far as 1929”
I wonder if this will have any affect on the real estate market. What do you think cherry blossom?
She pretends not to hear, as she knows he is just speculating. But what really happens is a frisson of fear runs down her spine, as she realizes he means that the possibility of moving to Seattle is much more of a reality to him, and it means selling their house.
She still has no word from R. and A. has family visiting, so she doesn’t want to bother her.
